Submissions for Industrial Park - Summer 2025 are open!
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Please read our submission guidelines carefully before sending in your work. The most important things to remember are: you must be 18+ to submit, we accept both art and writing but no AI-generated slop, and all submissions must be in CMYK color format for print. We're looking for anthropomorphic content that fits our zine's aesthetic. While we welcome adult themes and violence, we do have some content restrictions.

Rules
- You must be 18+ to submit to the zine. This publication is intended for mature audiences.
- We allow adult themes and suggestive material, but this is not a porn magazine.
- We cannot print direct calls to violent action (but we will print violence—lots of it).
- No AI-generated imagery.
- All submissions may be denied at the editor's discretion.
- Content must be anthro-related.

Art
Page Sizing
- We print zines at half-letter size: 5.5 x 8.5 inches.
- The safe zone measures 5.125 x 8.125 inches.
- For best results, create your artwork at 300 DPI.
- This means a canvas size of 1650 x 2550 pixels, with a 1538 x 2438 pixel safe zone.
- Comics should ideally stay entirely within the safe zone.
- Full-page artwork must keep key elements (text, subjects, comic panels) inside the safe zone.
- This ensures nothing vital is cut off during printing.
Color
- For best results in print, use CMYK color.
- RGB color (default for web) won't translate perfectly to print.
- Most art software allows you to export and preview in CMYK.
- Avoid 100% K Registration Black in your coloring (What this means).
Signatures
- Signatures go on every piece of art in the zine to ensure proper credit.
- If a signature isn't already visible and legible, we’ll add one based on your name from the submission form.
- We typically place added signatures in a corner.
- For best results: add your own signature or logo (and keep it inside the safe zone!)
Writing
- We accept all kinds of writing: stories, recipes, opinion pieces, poems, schizoid ramblings, etc.
- Please ensure your writing has proper grammar and spelling.
- We may ask you to refine your work for clarity.
- We prefer submissions via Google Docs so we can leave editing suggestions.
- Let us know if a story should be paired with a specific art piece.
- Standard Word Limit: 500 words.
- If your story exceeds 500 words, pitch it to us first. We likely can't accept anything over 2,000 words.
Shipping
- Contributors whose work is accepted will receive a free copy!
- If you'd like a copy, include your shipping address.
Boring Stuff
- By submitting, you grant us permission to distribute your work in our zine, both in print and digital formats.
- You retain all other rights to your work.
- We may use excerpts to promote the zine locally or on social media.
- The digital version of the zine will always be free on our website.
- We may sell physical copies to cover production costs, but we don't expect to profit and cannot offer payment at this time.
